Zeljo is a company that makes homemade sauces in South Africa. The majority of their clientele is Afrikaans-speaking and therefore the product labels are done in Afrikaans.

We decided that the logo and labels should exude a sense of modernity and authenticity that would indicate the product quality and homeliness. I suggested we use a vintage-style starburst design as a base, which lends a more traditional aspect to the brand. We placed this logo on top of concentric circles with varied tones of one colour, to add a contemporary feel.
